Blog: Raeder of the Lost Blog

Hello, is anybody out there...

... in Topeka that is.

Because I have no idea what is going on with the game. Pointstreak is down and I'm told they're having some power issues over in Topeka.

Which, quite frankly, couldn't happen at a worse possible time.

I called over to the Moose Lodge and they reported that b2 was having problems, too.

Anyone out there know what's going on right now?

EDIT: So they did get this bad boy back up and running. We're told by the Topeka paper that it was a problem at the nearby power plant and nothing to do with the storms that were rumbling through the Midwest.

As far as the game goes, Nick Guran seems to be turning in an incredible performance, including a game-saving goal with 2 minutes left to send this one into overtime.

Like everyone who has followed the Ice Dogs all season, I wish I was there to see it.

It definitely was, runnersfan. It's one of those games where, as a hockey fan, I can't help but feel it was a shame someone had to lose.

They were two evenly matched teams and the winner had to be the odds-on favorite to face St. Louis in the championship game.

    Good luck to the RoadRunners.
