The end of the beginning

Training has wrapped up at NTC, I've written my last story from from the high desert, and now I'm here at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas waiting for the first of two flights that will eventually take me back to Fairbanks.

If you were wondering about the cost of fuel here in the southwest, as of this morning it ranged between $4.29 and $4.59 per gallon for unleaded in Barstow (on the same block no less!). Read more and add a comment

Take for example, Omar Mustafah, a former high-ranking officer in Saddam Hussein's Republican Army, he now helps the U.S. Army train in the fight against the Iraqi insurgency.
