Harriet was looking forward to your morning message but it wasn't there. Hope everything is ok in Florida for you.
Weather here in Ky been ok with temps in 80's and no humidty. Going to get into 90's this week. Just want it to be nice for my sons middle school football game tonight. Miss those football games in AK. My son has to get use to practicing in 90 degree weather, he prefers the weather in AK and playing when it is cooler(30-50)instead of blazing hot. His helmet is black.
Take care everyone. Miss this place. Can't wait to get back to my house. Hope when I do it won't be too hard to get adjusted to the weather again.

We just got gas in Elizabethtown, Kentucky and it was $3.55. It's dropping pretty fast. Hopefully it won't raise anytime soon.

McGehee - Thanks for those pictures. That was the beginning of my first winter in Alaska. I remember calling my mom to tell her it was snowing. Couldn't get over it. I remember that year,it seemed to snow every day. We got alot of snow that year, if I remember correctly it was close to 60 inches. I have pictures of my kids in April wearing shorts and playing with the snow pile next to the house. Thanks for the memories. I wish I was back in AK at the moment but I will be back within the next five years.

Kingfisher: I enjoyed the moose calves.
Just dreading taking my son to football practice now. It's 6:00 p.m. and 94 degrees. He says it's not too bad but would rather practice in 60 to 70 degrees and play his games in the 40 to 50 degrees. I'll be watching him from the chair with my umbrella to keep the sun off of me. Can't wait to move back to AK. Just wish it was soon.
