I only have one question? On 9-11-2001 What would you have done as President??? All the armchair quarterbacks have hashed it over now for 7 years. I admit all of the new intelligence has created controversy, and it has become a political machine. That this small comment won't change... But what would you have done , considering you had just faced the second largest attack on US soil since Pearl Harbor. With a very similar body count??? Dem, Rep, Lib, or conservative. Please tell me!!!

They have been marching in the streets and burning the American flag ritually, since the 300 + hostages were released after a year of incarceration. Remember... My opinion is perceived just by reading the world news.. Some other peoples opinions I have commented on in the past, seem to have come from the funny papers. Or the Media political spin. About the two best comments Ive read so far are from Woodman. Let them pull out in front of a semi. My Brother drove truck here for many years and used to call them Kamikaze Pilots in Subarus. The other one was from Allen who called this whole Blog Hilarious. As for the drivers who are driving "Stupid on purpose", I guess your obituary won't be a big deal, I just hope you don't get anyone else killed in the process. The best picture I can visualize is a man doubled over with his head missing from behind, and the caption reading (I wish I could see things from your point of view).

Tourism is and can be a great part of our heritage... Anymore tourism is not Fairbanks... The Chena river was the source, and most of the heritage has been moved to Alaskaland, excuse me pioneer park...
The Alaska I know does not exist here... Who has been laid in Chicken, or pissed in the Yukon, or seen the grizz fishing. Who has been too Cross Island and watched the Polar Bears.
I went on vacation too Mexico. Sitting in a little Cantina watching TV about just such an event 2 weeks later I piped up and said I just came from there. Wow, I was laughed off. As usual.
Oh yea we were talking about a few trees in Fairbanks... Trust me, they will try and make it pretty!!! They will plant strategically placed trees in time and at there convenience.
In my opinion, we have to encourage tourism as a source of revenue. Be it tame or extreme. Been there, Done that.
The memories I have I will cherish forever, as I have seen things few people in the world can only imagine.

newsreader, we don't always agree and I have a long legal thought process regarding how someone can get a dui, lose their licence and be prosecuted, even if administratively, as you do not have to ask for the privilege of a "Drivers License" to operate a lawn-mower. There is a legal term of (Challenging the Courts Jurisdiction) but case law has run this into (Don Quixote) fighting the windmill. At most he should have been charged with "Drunk and Disorderly". I am currently uninformed as any of these cases have made it to the supreme court.
However your thoughtfulness rings true!!! Get after them. I'm busy today.

Don't get mad Dana, Governor Palin is trying to listen to the people. She realizes Government is bloating and she is trying to compensate them in realistic terms. Fuel, groceries, milk and kids!!!
Most of the blowhards, not all, want equitable terms. But, most of them have nothing better to do all day than create controversy. My best guess is that most of them are elderly, which is not a bad thing, as they are living on a probably substantial retirement, but they don't have to deal with life anymore. You go girl!
