This is a sad day for Alaskans. We have shown the rest of the United States that we care more for money than ethics. This election sends a clear signal that we don't care what you do as long as you pork barrel for Alaska at the cost of the rest of the nation. Even worse, we don't care how you do it, legal or illegal. What a fine example we have set for Alaska's children. I am truly amazed and embaressed at the path we have collectively chosen. One way or another, sooner or later, we WILL pay for this error.

It shames me think think alaskans would even consider anyone with the name of Stevens for public office. I guess this sends a clear message that money is more important than integrity. What most people don't understand is that Ted has lost any clout he had since he has been indicted. Not even politicians will assoiciate with someone under criminal investigation. Even if he wins, chances are he will get beat in the next election by Begich, judging by the numbers generated tonight. Will we ever learn?

Don't go away mad Ted, just go away and be glad we don't take your retirement, your medical, and your name off the airport. You should have walked away with your pride and integrity intact. I actually felt a little sorry for you as I watched you get into Ralph Seekins truck yesterday at the airport.

I think the Feds are sending a clear message to Ted. "We have more than ample evidense on you, get smart, get out". If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, guess what? Its probably a duck. The runt is finally getting his due for abusing the American system. I don't care what party he belongs to, he's made us the laughing stock of America and I for one am ashamed that we let him stay in office. Time for new blood in the Senate, (and the House for that matter). Hopefully the next hopefull's will not prove to be a crooked as Ted, Don, and Frankie.

Very good ArcticFF!
I was planning on getting my quota of mosquito's this season, but the rain has really goofed things up for me. I was hoping to get a Boone & Crockett record mosquito to go above my fireplace! I guess I'll have to wait till next year to see how many of your suggestions go to vote and how many of them become law!

On Fairbanksans caught in crossfire as feuding gang members take aim at each other

I guess I've gotten a little lazy about packing my gun with me. I see now its time to make sure I have it with me. This just reinforces the reason that we no longer need our concealed carry permits. Sooner or later these idiots will take action in the wrong place and we won't have to worry about them anymore...
