I'm sure this scenario must have come from an office of a state employee:0)

Our soldiers returning from training in CA, preparing to deploy to Iraq, were landing at Eielson around the same time as the dog show. It would be nice to think that they were given a proper "Thank You" from the lead dog, as long as he was in the neighborhood. Bet it didn't happen!

This is so ridiculous. It would be nice to see Mr. Madson take on another client, pro bono, during his retirement. Our government is out of control people.

We who live in this state should boycott this "special;" enough said.

These CHUMPS have been annoying us for MONTHS!! They always seemed to call around 6 p.m. Initially, I called their number back and notified them NEVER TO CALL MY NUMBER AGAIN. Now, I just pick up the phone and immediately hang it up.

Henry has already received WAY too much attention people...please ignore his lack of impulse control.

What is the reason that we, with 24/7 daylight during the summer, don't run two DOT crews to "get 'er done?" As things are done now we waste time, and cause MUCH mental anguish/road rage!! At the VERY least, they could put up ROAD CLOSED signs to prevent one from entering dead end expressway/highway/etc., rather than directing hundreds of motorists on a wild goose chase, to find after being in grid lock traffic for fifteen minutes, you end up exactly where you began.
What a joke this place becomes in the summer...get it together DOT, or outsource your work to private companies. As they don't have to play the games involved in having the state provide a service, they would perhaps finish the job in a fraction of the time, and we may actually enjoy the benefit of driving on good roads before winter hits again.

Why did they wait until our soldiers are in CA for training, before they had such a "pomp and circumstance" ceremony?
The military treats their soldiers and their families like second rate citizens. I know, they "signed on for it"...young, easily influenced, with an incomplete frontal lobe development. Fill them with alcohol and let them "be all they can be."
Yes, I support our troops, my family is full of soldiers doing "their part for their country." Who picks up the pieces for the children who's parents come back alive, yet not whole? You don't hear about the families broken by PTSD. Those children potentially live through more trauma than those who lose a parent in combat. I can only imagine the fallout from the second deployment.
The chaplain's office has been useless to us, not answering their phone or returning messages left.

Bugger, there are people following the homeless children who do attend our school system. The numbers are frightening and will become more so in the near future.
As for cutting down the trees to force those living within out, perhaps we could set up something in the parking lot of Pioneer Park for them. Why do we facilitate the tourist, while throwing our own in the gutter. Come on people, put your mind where your mouth seems to be.

I"m no expert, however, I believe when being screened for THC there are detectable levels, which would be lower, and then there are higher levels, supposedly indicating impairment. I suppose the judicial system uses this information to argue higher levels indicate recent consumption. Could this be where the problem came in with the blood work?
Without knowing facts it is impossible to determine what caused this accident. One fact known is that a woman tragically lost her life, however, I doubt being impaired by smoking marijuana only was the cause of this driver to cross the center line.
