The_Alaska_Curmudgeon:
You have way too much time on your hands to respond to every one of those comments. Kind of funny....

Well, can't say I didn't see this one coming but some of the charges are completely rediculous and far fetched...how do you charge someone for trading a Mustang and cash for a Land Rover? That is a simple trade/transaction of motor vehicles.

I'm sure glad West Valley finally made the coaching change that has been needed for the last few years...I here nothing but good things about Ben Johnson, so lets hope he can get West Valley back to thier nearly unstoppable form from 2001! The city league for the kids has really grown over the past few years and there will surely be a lot of talent come up from the ranks over the years. Good luck against Juneau Wolfpack!!

NotACheechako-
I think that Alaska Wild should at least change thier name to the Anchorage Wild because they do not represent Alaska by themselves. Wichita's mascot is a tiger so they could come up with another name other than Wild...we'll see

I hope that either the Alaska Wild or the Wichitaw Wild change thier names.....if not oh well. I think this is going to be great having 17 teams in the league!! It's going to give it stability and hopefully draw even bigger crowds at the Carlson Center...oh and it will make it so that we don't have to play someone 4 times in 1 season.

Well put CoolRon...tree huggers have caused a lot of people to cut many trees down for warmth this winter. I just cleared 5 acres of trees for my lot and using it all for firewood. If we culd build new refineries and drill for our oil, then tree huggers could have all the trees they want.

That is true, Chad Dittman is the owner and founder of the IFL. He owns most of the Grizzlies and the Corpus Christi Hammerheads. Kenny handled himself with class and I am impressed by that very much. The Wild players have a few bad apples who don't belong in professional sports. Too bad they barely squeaked into the playoffs, but oh well, they will lose in the 1st round anyways to Cen Tex, who absolutely crushed them last time they played 54-7. Good first season Grizz!! We won 1 more game than the Wild did last year and we tied them 2-2 on the season series! I hope John Fourcade comes back next year, as it will help having him again. He did a great job with this team. Can't wait for the first game next year when the Wild travel up here.

On Fairbanks Grizzlies pull out another Wild win in season finale

Excellent win Grizzlies!! Bartik and Parks played a great game, the secondary played thier best game to date, and the defensive line, for the most part, contained the Wild QB very well and shut down Ford's rushing attack.

It's not understandable that he got in a fight. That's just more excuses being made for these athletes who need to be held to a higher standard than the fans. Every CC player played against the Grizzlies for free becasue Chad Dittman had to fork over $1500 to the hotel they were staying at here in Fairbanks because they were running around naked and damaging the hotel rooms there were staying in. Standing out in the hallways naked and smoking...they are just about the complete opposite of a class act team. They are the most out of control team I have ever seen. I would be surprised if Chad keeps the players who were involved in this hotel incident on the team.

HybridAlaskan-

It was not "Superfan who had his son in his arms, it was another man and the child must have been under 2 years old. The "Superfan" was the reason the fight broke out because of his rediculous comments to the players, but that doesn't justify a professional athlete to jump into the stands and start a brawl with kids around.
