BullsEye: Its not the Dems who are messing up our energy policy. We have a real problem today with our elected officials as a whole. Look at the arragant and corrupt republician party. I was once a republican but now im undeclared.
Just the other day Don Young said he wanted to raise the federal gas tax from 18c to 1 dollar. He wants to do this at a time of record gas cost! What an idiot.
Both of our parties are lost in the woods of special interest groups who fund elections and control them soon after.
The only real answer is to look after yourself and family and prepare for a future time when our elected officials usurp our rights and freedoms because of pressure from hostile governments who own our debt and will bring a economic holocaust to our shores.
Get yourself ready, the government won't be doing it for you

I thought flint hills only sells diesel fuel, and petro star refines and sells gas to local stations. Is this the case?

If you want to get their attention you need to hit there pocket. Organize public demonstrations at the gas stations they supply.
Most of us in this community would see the value in this action and support it.
Hold signs to which gass station to support and go to, that will bring them to the table,
I'm willing to help

These two did a terrible thing, they got the appropriate sentence and will have plenty of time to think about the mistakes they make.

It troubles me that another armed robber, who has multiple previous felonies, gets away with a sentence of less then a year.

Something's rotten in this town and its starting to stink...

Begich is a young man and has a good chance in the future, however until Sen. Stevens decides its time to leave he will continue to receive my support. When elected again it will probably be his last term and out of respect for all he has done for this state, he deserves out support.
