Also need to look at wind power in the Broad Pass to Cantwell area, need to look at Hydro on the Jack River, river flow year around, need to look at all forms of Renewable energy , also need to get a coal fire plant back on line instead of just sitting in Healy collect dust, that we pay 280 millon to build to just sit for the last 8 to 10 years now not being use.

wow some good discussion here, have learn a few more things on how the systems works...... and maybe Freezee is right about me being off topic but still have a concern about safety issues that I feel need to be address in this state.....

So Freezee so you are saying that I am way off base on safety of people on the highways,,,,,, and it seem like you are saying it is okay for people to get hurt or even killed because of lack of good roads, that was the point I was tried to make , I really don't care about party politics don't belong to either one, I vote for who I feel will do the best for the people........

Johnw612 , you may be right about that and if that is the case then that would mean to me there is something wrong with the system that doesn't put safety of the people first..........

Here we are talking about wasting money on shooting ranges in Fairbanks, When we have dangerous intersections in the Denali Borough, The intersection at Mile 231 of the Parks Hwy is just asking for someone to get kill this summer,,,,,,,,,,, also the one in Cantwell and it intersects with another major hwy , Denali Hwy and it has taken a life or two over the years , WE NEED TURN LANES , we need a bike path to help get bicycles of the highway in Denali Borough, we probably get at least 80% of all vehicles that come to Alaska driving between Cantwell and Healy and we have some of the unsafest road with bad intersections and no bike paths,,, and we have money for shooting ranges , fish hatcharies.... ect.

I don't think it is Denali Borough job to be in day care bussines, if the people of Healy feel like they need a Day Care then they need to come up with the funding on their own, by asking the borough to step in, is going to put the borough on the hook every year for funding, where is the borough going to get the funding, nobody will vote a sale tax in.... what about the rest of the communities in Denali Borough, is the Denali Borough going to offer Day Care there also, I think Day Care is a great idea but also I think the town of Healy needs to step up to the plate by asking borough goverment to do this they are asking the rest of the comunitites to funded their Day Care , then Denali Borough should start a Day Care in all communities then ....

We need to get the other Healy coal plant online now, no reason for it sitting the last 10 years not being use....... also need to work on hydro power, if we can't get Susitna hydro project, need to look at some smaller hydro projects, the Jack River in Cantwell would make a good small hydro project, it could possible put out the same amount of power that the older power plant in Healy produces now.... and it is close the the Sub-station in Cantwell, it could be one of the cheapest and quickest power source to build, alot cheap then the 280 million plant setting in Healy not running..... Get some wind Power going in Healy and the Broad Pass area.......
