Dark clouds moving in , looks like a spring thunderstorm coming.. Lots of bustle going on in the middle of the lot there.

Looks like some dark rain clouds (spring showers?) looming out there on the southern horizon this afternoon. And the trees are suddenly green & full, what a quick transformation from just 10 days ago.

Is that our long-awaited motorcycle sitting again out there in the middle of the parking lot? I glanced at the cam and there it is, sitting in the middle of the lot. It's hard to tell if that is indeed the same bike that was parked in the lot back in April. Can anyone tell ? Also, are those trees situated around the church turning green with any leaf growth yet, in response to the mild weather in the Fairbanks area?

Hi polarmark. Yes, you are right, it was the street washer truck, I saw it go up the road on the right side (south?) earlier in the afternoon, it looked like it had 2 water tanks on both the left and right sides of the truck. Also, I saw what appeared to be water or liquid being dispersed from both tanks as it treked quickly up that hill.

You can see in the cam that it appears breezy in Fairbanks today, just click on the cam image every second or 2 and you can see the pine trees sway back and forth! And the atmosphere in the cam view has that warm, spring appearance today. Does anyone agree? I'm here in the lower 48, and its COLD and WINDY, just 49 degrees here in New England. Enjoy the warm weather, Fairbanks! (Send some our way please!)

Looking at the cam (6:00 am), is that a fresh dusting of new snow I see covering the parking lots? It looks so pristine in the view! Take care and Happy Monday to all. (It's Bright & Sunny here in CT, USA)

Hi all! Seems like spring is in the air today in Fairbanks!! Temperatures approaching 35-40* ? Back here, 50 miles from New York City, it's about 42 and raining a bit. But you have the hazy sunshine, as it appears so in the cam. Enjoy the warmth, I'm sure it will cool off again before spring officially arrives.

Good Morning Fairbanks! Your forecast is for 60 - 70 degrees today? That's really nice for early Sept. up there! And to JerseyGirl, I'm getting ready for this storm called Hannah.... We may get 5 inches of rain tonight and 45 mph winds up here near Long Island!! Whew!! Hope you don't get the worse of it. Take care all!
