So Frank is rearing his head back in Alaskan politics, the great statesman. I look at it as a good day when we don't hear anything about Governor Arrogance. To put it plainly, "Frank, shut up and go away. We don't care about anything you say, even if you are correct. You are an arrogant idiot. And thanks a lot for giving us Palin." The latter was impossible without the former, to everyone's detriment.

KSFLATLANDER..."a supernatural being that considers their intelligence to be nothing."? I think you took the wrong pill. It is YOU that decides who the "good people" of this world are? No, sorry. Just because you believe in some intolerant antiquated fairy tales, filled with joyous things like slavery, stoning, and destruction of whole populations doesn't mean you are in the norm or correct. Part of the Palin crowd, dumping on the "educated elite" for having the intellegence to question and tolerate others. Go find a bible to bang somewhere else.
By the way, it is just a word, as BetterThings pointed out. Learn to share.

A great night for America. McCain got what he deserved, morphing into Bush 2 and picking a moronic veep candidate thinking that would get him to the White House. Unfortunately, that results in Palin returning to Alaska. But this is a time of sacrifice, a time we all have to pitch in to better the country. So I will sacrifice for the country and take Palin back, and look forward to her crash and burn in Juneau.
For all you Obama-is-a-Muslim-with-no-birth-certificate-hating-the-flag bunch, tough beans. We have had to live for eight years with the rapers of our US Constitution, Bush and Cheney. Now you can suck it up. You will be amazed how much better our country is in four years.

So let's see what her approval rating will be after she returns to Alaska, and tries to push legislation. She has alienated many in Juneau and this state by showing her true colors...her ability to become a republican hack to further her own ambitions. And we all know that she will be willing to jump state ship to go national. And is it OK with all Alaskan Palin supporters about her ethics violations, stealing Alaskan money, and embarassing our state (is she really the best Alaska has to offer for national stage? What DOES a Vice President do, and what IS the First Amendment?). I am torn between wanting her out of the national power scene and wanting her out of the state power scene. Let her go back to Wasilla...what a dump.

"It is good to see our judicial system work, and the successful continuation of the FBI purging of political corruption in Alaska. Next on the list is Don Young and Ben Stevens. Then maybe Alaska can hold it's head up in the national political arena."

CEO--If you want to know why some motorized vehicles are not allowed in Denali NP, take a trip out on the tundra and across the taiga outside the park, and look at all the trails and damage. Denali is 6 million acres, and does allow for winter snowmachine use when the ground is frozen and there is snow cover on 4 million of those acres. And that incident area is included in those 4 million acres. Is that not enough? As I recall, national parks are established to preserve that part of the environment, and by allowing for some winter use (more than half the year), that seems to strike a balance between protection and recreation. Don't like it, go play on almost the entire rest of the state. Whiner...
Break a hunting reg, pay the price. Fight it in court, try to use your name recognition, make a big case out of it, you're stuck with the public embarassment.
Just feeding his family? Let's go out and harvest what we want when we want. Think of all the money the state can save by firing all the fish and game guys! Neanderthal-thinking.

I'd rather see the moose on the ticket with McCain...at least you don't need $150,000 to dress him up, and he doesn't have us pay to fly his kids all around! Higher IQ too, I suspect. And he is friends with flying squirrels. Palin is just squirrely in the head.

In regards to local politics, at the borough level, it is always good to clean out career politicians. There is definitely corruption, albet at a minor level compared to Juneau and DC, in Healy. I think I'll go with the Doc.

I seem to remember that the State of Alaska pays Palin a salary and more to be an acting governor. We got ripped off for months during the presidential campaign. What seems to be the problem now? And I'm not talking about ANOTHER governor's conference (how many are there?) but her campaigning for Chamblis in Georgia. Really, if she doesn't want to be governor, please just resign and let Parnell do the work. Or maybe she doesn't have that much work to really do. In that case, she is not making a good point for her executive experience for her run in 2012. Is she towing any of the kids along for this? Man, I am really getting tired of Palin 24-7.
