oh yeah they get lower gas prices in anchorage...now we wonder why. Because instead of refining the gas in north pole...they send it down on a train to be refined in anchorage. Then they truck it back to Fairbanks where we are forced to pay more for it because of the truckers...doesnt that just make wonderful sense. Where is that new governor of ours and why isnt she fixing this problem???

I have 3 cats and they go outside on a daily basis in the summer. And yes...they do stay in my yard...they have no reason to wander with all the birds and shrews available to them. Whats next? You gonna be out there griping about cats eating mice and shrews? Wake up...you live in Alaska...the last frontier...and I wouldnt care if my cats took down an entire flock of ravens. Ravens make a bigger mess than any cat ever would and why they are protected in such great numbers is topic for another debate.

Well I have been saying this for years. The only time alaska gets any attention from the lower 48 is when something like the polar bear deal, the PFD, or an earthquake. I say the people of this state need to stand up and tell the government what we want or we secede from the nation. Then we can kick all these oil lords out and develop our resources here to benefit the people of this great state.
