On Fairbanks permanent fund drops 10 percent amid turmoil

doris, thanks for responding. In all of your ranting you still didn't say that you are in favor of Obama's plan for more spending. Do you like paying taxes? Everybody gives Bush a hard time about the economy. What would you have done if ten months after you were elected president your country was attacked by terrorists? Thank God Gore wasn't president. The reason the economy is trashed is because of the likes of Barney Franks, and all the corrupt liberal democrats with a few greedy republicans mixed in. They are the ones who ran this country into the ground. They are the reason for the foreclosures, surely you can agree with that? Bush didn’t ruin the economy, the democrats did. They rejected any attempts to change the buying of the foreclosure loans in which you speak. How do you things would be if the Trade Center bombings would not have occurred? Enlighten me please with your liberal wisdom. Please do not forget to answer my questions. Please don’t get me started on Obama’s character and track record. This issue is over money. Tell me that you like paying taxes. That is what is going to happen if Obama wins.

I remember when the democrats had the majority in the house and the senate and have effectively brought this country to its knees. Do you remember that? How about when Barney Franks said that Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac were in good shape, that was earlier this year. How about three years ago when McCain and other republicans tried to regulate the above mentioned institutions but were denied by the democrats? Do you remember that? Ask me who the CEO's of those two failed institutions that are threatening the American way of life are working for now and how much money they took before leaving. Come on, I dare you!

Oh, there are a lot more than that! It's funny how most of them are democrats that control the house and the senate.

Dude, why bother trying to explain anything. Palin haters don't listen or care. They actually think Obama is a good choice. I hope he wins because I like paying a lot of taxes and feeling patriotic. Liberals, tell me again how taxing the rich (company owners) is going to help create good paying jobs. Won't they just higher people at a lower wage to make up for the higher taxes? Or, they may just cut jobs all together. Obama wants to spend, spend , spend, he said so himself. I know I'm getting off topic but hearing most of you whine about Palin makes me think you like your options better.

SandyAk: So you are cool with paying a lot more in taxes just to spite Palin? Wow, a woman scorned. Touche, I can't argue with that. I hope you are one of the really wealthy who can really afford the new taxes. I know I am not. What can I do to make more money? I have a child and a lot of bills. Please tell me how higher taxes are going to help me save money for my child's future and somehow pay down the nations debt? I can't figure it out.

Obama followers are sick of the same old thing from the Bush party. They want change. Well after Obama raises taxes we will all be making changes alright. You think money is tight now, wait until he admittedly raises taxes and spending to the tune of near a trillion dollars. I can’t wait to be a real patriot and pay more taxes. The cool thing is that the reason our economy is in the toilet is because of the democrats that have held the majority in the house and the senate. They have repeatedly blocked any bills to help regulate the spending from Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac. But who cares, we do not want another Bush. Obama admits that he is friends with a known domestic terrorist, but who cares we can’t afford another Bush. The last time I checked Bush wasn’t running for president. I wish we had some better choices but we don’t. The facts are that Obama is going to raise taxes, something we all do not want. McCain says he is going to deregulate and cut spending, at least that sounds better. Don’t think for one minute that just because you make less than $42,000.00 dollars that you will be safe. Raising taxes on the rich people that control the work force will only cause them to find ways to save more money, most likely by cutting their work force or hiring people for less money. The good news is that there will be plenty of jobs at minimum wage.
