The Nenana Ice Classic finally announced a winner on Thursday, nine days after the Tanana River ice went out.

Colleen Cloutier, 53, of Anchorage held the only winning ticket in Alaska’s richest guessing game to claim the $303,895 jackpot, making her the richest winner in the 92-year-old Ice Classic.

Cloutier will get about $218,000 after taxes, said Ice Classic manager Cherrie Forness.

Man, if I were given such a windfall, I'd not allow the Nenana Seniors to publish nothing more than my zip code to keep the criminal element from knocking on my door.

    Congratulations though!
