To the editor:
I would like to thank the state Department of Transportation crews for the work they do for us in this borough.
The roads are rough and the crews on the roads are always risking their lives by being out when it only takes a person losing focus for a second to cause one of them to lose their life.
I drive a lot and I just want to express my appreciation for those men and women of DOT doing a tough job and helping us to have a much better way to travel.

To Life is Good and all you other DOT guys: Thanks for getting the highways cleared out so fast yesterday. That was quite a mess, but by the time I drove home the road was cleared. Couldn't have been an easy day.
I sure dont see the great job with the roads what is so great about them? The roads in this town are beat to heck and i hardly ever see anyone fixing them i got school buses going up and down my roads all day and my roads are worse than driving the dike at the end of south cushman
A lot of neighborhood roads are beat to heck, but as far as the highway goes, I couldn't have been more surprised. Clear and dry as a bone in some spots. Good job, DOT...
Thanks Monday wasn't a good day for anyone and when i got off of work I was dreading my drive home cause it was absolutely terrible at 0330 in the morning but they were clear thanks so much :D
Well, sun, asphalt, and traffic had a lot to do with the dry roads, but DOT did well for the morning run on some roads.
