Blog: MRE-Military Bits

New name, same great blog flavor

Published Monday, September 22, 2008

The blog formerly known as First Stryke is back with a broader focus on the military.

As you might recall, MREs are the field rations soldiers get that often taste nothing like the food they claim to be, and often have curious effects on one's digestive system.

However, they're a great source of energy despite the taste, and guaranteed to give you everything you need to get through the mission. Hopefully the new, expanded focus of this blog will be a lot like that. But unlike an MRE, this blog is guaranteed to not cause constipation.

Right now I'm with Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve in Hawaii. I Would like to go with the 1-25th to Iraq, but there are currently some issues with that. Something could happen next year though.
