Palin hits the shelves

Published Thursday, April 3, 2008

In the window of one of the bookstores in downtown Juneau is a glowing, smiling Sarah Palin. A new book about her -- Sarah: How a Hockey Mom Turned Alaska's Political Establishment Upside Down -- is out.

In this bookstore, "Sarah" was in a display with a book on Madeiline Albright and another titled "Ten Women Who Shook the World."

"Has she done anything yet?" Asked the friend I was with.

What do you think? Does Palin warrant a biography at this point?

Hitting the shelves might not be quite right. Apparently for now there are two copies around -- one for the bookstore and one for the gov. But your can order your very own.

“SARAH: How a Hockey Mom Turned Alaska’s Political Establishment Upside Down,” published by Epicenter Press (a book publisher founded in Fairbanks in 1988) is in its second printing. The first printing sold out before the release date.
