Veterinarian Denise Albert sits with a wolf that a Denali National Park and Preserve biologist on Friday, May, 2, 2008, removed a cable snare embedded in its neck. Albert, a Denali Park area vet who has worked as a veterinarian on the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, cleaned the wound and gave the wolf a shot of antibiotics.
