Standing behind fellow nominee Daniel Byrd, Chloe Leach is introduced during the Flint Hills Resources Golden Heart Awards on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at the Princess Hotel. The two North Star Youth Court volunteers were nominated in the youth category of the 10th annual banquet recognizing volunteers in the area. Leach was nominated winner of the category for which she received a crystal heart award, and a $1,000 donation to her organization.
