I love taking photos and Dozer is in about 80% of them. This was taken in Southeast Alaska last summer. I was lying in the grass as he was returning the stick and he ended up smacking me right in the eye! It was worth it though—I love this shot!
Makena Conant, age 3, is pictured catching shrimp in Valdez with her daddy, James Conant. and Grandpa Don Carlson during the Memorial Day weekend. This girl is a true Alaskan and isn't afraid to touch anything! These shrimp were alive and flipping their tails and she couldn't be more excited to participate. Grandpa even showed her how to pinch the heads off.
This photo was taken while landing at 7,200 feet at Denali base camp on the Kahiltna Glacier. The scenery was spectacular—an amazing experience. Can't wait to go again. Talkeetna Air Taxi is the best!
