Stover only had $70 in his account at the time he wrote the check and never made an effort to cover the check, according to a criminal complaint filed in court.

Stover told Alaska State Troopers his friend was supposed to transfer him money to pay for the house, but the friend told troopers they never had such an agreement, court documents allege.

Fairbanks police opened the package and inside found the marijuana, seven packages of rolling paper and a monthly planner with Tritt’s name on it.

At the time of his arrest, he smelled of alcohol and had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, court documents allege.
