KENAI, Alaska - The U.S. Coast Guard rescued two men whose skiff had mechanical trouble on the way from Kalgin Island to Kenai.

The Peninsula Clarion reports that 55-year-old Phillip St. John of Kalgin Island and 50-year-old Vincent Bryant of Kenai had mild hypothermia.

The men were rescued about two miles southeast of the island, which is about 20 miles from Kenai.
