Good Morning Fairbanks, AK! Boreal, good luck with the kidney stones, they are painful ! TT, hope your back is feeling better every day! Hi Granny! Ummmm, xpipelyner, the word "claw" made me cringe! Hope the chiro made your back feel better. HBWarlord, I live in Chicago and I never knew that so many "critters" like dry cat food. I now have a resident skunk, possum and raccoon that all eat dry cat food. My great nephew saw the skunk one day and yelled, look rara, Pepe le pew!
xpipelyner-Thanks, it’s definitely great to be back home where I belong, I'm certain now I couldn't live in the lower 48 permanently again, I can visit, but not live for sure, I have permanent Alaskan fever, lol, take care everybody
Borealfox, I wish you good luck with your kidney stone treatment today. I have to agree with several things you said in the past few days. But I will just read and remain silent until we see how it all plays out.
boreal..I live in south suburban St. Paul, Eagan is my suburb. We do have that Lyme disease in Mn. & Wis. outstate. When I had my stone removed New Years Eve, they went in with that "claw" & got it. Finally caught up after 8 pages. TT, hope you're back improves; I'm off to my chiropractor with mine right now before one of those exciting safety meetings at work. At least they're feeding us today. Touch of winter here, 11 with a little wind. Take care; DD, nice to have you back! Jon
of going up and trying to fish it out that's for sure that's for darn sure. If it's in a position where it would be easier to fish it out they are still going to have to knock me out as I'm not that brave even with any kind of a local. LOL, just saw the post before this one and it's easy to see how much pain that I must be in just because of the wording. Oh well, it's very late and I'm going to pop a couple of really strong sleepers to try and get some rest before the ordeal Tomorrow.
Hillbilly, talk about having fun it sure looks like I'm going some Tomorrow some time. All kinds of blood in urine, and I've got a very strong feeling that it's a kidney stone that's hung up. This sounds outrageous but I've literally passed several hundred very small ones, and have had to have them blown up four different times. The last time a Radiologist looked at my X-rays he was very clear and concise in his reading saying "Lots of Kidney Stones!" I'd much rather them blow one up instead
There are things I write out of pure anger.I used to throw those away, but now I keep them.In time,I either find out how wrong I was,or how right I still am LOL,and whats funny is,that some things that happened 20 or 30 years ago, parallel today as if nothing has changed,it could be 1982,or 2012.
don't answer the phone just because we also at times don't want to talk to anyone no matter who it is. We have those times when we just wish to have each others company without even thinking of talking to anyone else. Please don't take it personally if we're not answering the phone as we're like that with everyone no matter who it is as we just want to be alone with it just being the concept of "Us." & that's what we need at times is just "Us." Hope you have a pain free night.
I know what you mean,I never worry about grammar, its more "feeling" for me.There are too may folks out there, who won't express themselves for the fear of being judged by their grammar. My next door neighbor has a thick southern accent,he doesnt type well, doesnt like to write much, but this man is a wizard with ANY engine, machine or piece of equipment, and he knows whats going on in the world.I try to never judge a book by its cover, but sometimes thats easier said than done,as Im sure it is with me.
Grany, this was one of those nights when we turned the ringer off on the phone. We have a friend that's a real alky burner, and she called here 8 times Tonight. We knew ahead of time that she'd been drinking again as Pam talked to her This Afternoon. When that sort of thing happens we have got to turn off the ringer just to save our own sanity. When it got this late we knew that she'd probably passed out already. So when we checked calls we saw where you'd called as well. Sometimes we just
spelling & grammer were important but communicating was what really counted the most. Grany is such a sweetheart, and yeah her spelling and grammer are not perfect all the time. But she sure does know how to communicate, and again that's the most important thing of all.
Hillbilly, love some of the things that you write, & sometimes I'm not sure if I'm really reading something into some of them or just how it's meant. But that's also the sign of someone who's a good writter with the way that you use words. It's like you know how to comfort as well as inflame in the same message. It's like with Grany however she does know how to communicate, spelling and grammer be damned. Sister "Butch Monica" at Our Lady of Perpetual Guilt Catholic School would tell us that
has anyone ever heard of anyone in Alaska that hasn't been out of the state or even close to the Midwest or any of the New England states coming down with lyme disease? It's a new one on me if they contracted it here in Alaska. What I do know is the person that we know that has it has only been to Hawaii and one trip to Arizona.
Fox---I've noticed in my area, that there have been a LOT of Doves and Skunks here lately.I've never seen so many Doves and Skunks! Dove hunting in September is a pretty big thing in my neck of the woods.Usually we see the Skunks begin to come out more and more this time of the year, but not like this.Come to think of,the past 2 years when we had those back to back colder than normal winters,I barely saw them at all,so maybe theyre enjoying the warmer winter as well, this year.
