North Pole downs ‘chaotic’ Monroe squad

FAIRBANKS — The North Pole Patriots overcame disjointed play to defeat the Monroe Catholic Rams 46-29 on Tuesday night.
“We played OK,” North Pole coach Rob McIntosh said. “We didn’t run structured. ... (The Rams) were kind of chaotic, and we played into that chaos, running up and down the court. We didn’t slow it down.”
The Patriots’ Jazmin McNeal led all scorers with 13 points and the North Pole defense held all Monroe scorers to less than 10 points apiece. Gabby Gilbertson paced the Rams with seven.

Correction: For the Lady Patriots the leading scorer's name is Jazmin McNeal NOT Jazmin Mitchell. Good game Patriots!
Thank you for the correction. It's been changed here.
wheres TOK BOYS SCORES
For anyone at the Delta/Tok Game they know that Delta did not breeze by Tok. And Tok girls only have 6 players. So the comment that only two other players contributed was not necessary. That put 4 out of 6 players on the books. Not bad in my opinion.
As for the Tok boys they have 7 players and only lost by 11 points. Skylar Webb had 50 points.
All in all not bad for a 2A school playing a 3A school. I would stay tuned for the next Delta/Tok match up on February 3rd.
