Inductive Bible
Seminar
Precept Ministries International will host an Inductive Bible Study Seminar for men, women and teens who want to discover truth for themselves, go deeper in their relationship with God and disciple others, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 17 and 18 at Fairhill Community Church of God, 101 City Lights Blvd. Participants can register for one or both days. Change Your
Mind Day The second Annual Change Your Mind Day, a day of free meditation instruction, will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship 4448 Pikes Landing Road across from Princess Hotel. Anyone interested can participate in any or all of the listed sessions. Bring a blanket for yoga and a cushion, mat or pillow for comfortable sitting.

Yeshi Tulku Rinpoche is a highly revered scholar who received teachings from 25 great teachers, representing all five schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Today, he is known as a master of Dzogchen, a profound method of realizing the true nature of the mind.
At 6 p.m., a dinner and silent auction fundraiser for Cold Mountain Zen Center will be held. The cost is $10. Music will be provided by members of Anam Cara. Information: 479-7939
Alaska Buddhist Center
Alaska Buddhist Center (ABC-RTL) is having a special meeting today at 5:30 p.m. at the home of Neville Jacobs for the final planning for the visit of Tibetan lama Yeshi Tulku Rinpoche. The lama will teach from Thursday through Sept. 29. Anyone interested in attending this meeting should call Jacobs at 456-4780.
