New prison to be called Goose Creek

Stumble It!ANCHORAGE — The Matanuska-Susitna Borough says the new $250 million prison being built at Point MacKenzie will be called Goose Creek Correctional Center after a nearby waterway.
Borough spokeswomen Patty Sullivan says a citizens advisory committee suggested the name and the Alaska Department of Corrections approved.
Goose Creek is a tributary to Knik Arm.

Considering the power line for this prison was vetoed, one wonders how power will be provided.
Come on name it after Ted Stevens and Don Young.
FreeDarfur-Why, do you think they will name it after one of it's first inmates and if so will they change the name of the airport.
