Six-year-old boy dies in accidental shooting in Akiak

Stumble It!ANCHORAGE -- A 6-year-old boy has died in the western Alaska village of Akiak after a 7-year-old boy accidentally shot him with a high-powered rifle.
Alaska State Troopers say the boys found the weapon in an abandoned house Sunday evening. Troopers say the older boy was holding the rifle when it went off.
The names of the children have not been released.
Troopers say they are continuing to investigate.
