Man missing in Sand Point shows up on street

SAND POINT, Alaska -- A man who walked off a job in Sand Point and was missing for three days has been found alive and well.
Thirty-five-year-old John Shannon was working on a dock Tuesday night and told his supervisor he was taking a break.
He did not return and was not seen until Friday morning, when he was spotted walking down a street.
Enviro-Tech Diving Inc. President Tim Jewell says Shannon is a diver but the work Tuesday did not involve entering the water.
He had just been hired Monday.
Jewell says the disappearance triggered a community-wide search that involved people from cannery workers to school children.
Jewell says Shannon left with his parents Friday for Seattle.

Irresponsible. Would it kill someone just to say they dont like the job and leave instead of all that?
