Victims of plane crash in Anchorage identified

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- The two people killed earlier this week in a small airplane crash in Anchorage have been identified.

The victims are 55-year-old Thomas Blake and his wife, 64-year-old Paulette. The couple had addresses both in Homer and in Pahrump, Nev.

Greg Wilkinson, spokesman for the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, says a positive identification was made through dental records sent from Nevada.

The couple was killed when their Cessna 206 lost power shortly after takeoff Wednesday and crashed on a city street.

Investigators determined the two were the only ones on the six-seater plane.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash.
