ANCHORAGE -- Olympic cross country skier Kikkan Randall is getting married.

The first American woman to win a World Cup race will exchange vows with Canadian cross country skier Jeff Ellis in an outdoor ceremony Friday.

Their mutual coach and friend, Erik Flora, will perform the ceremony under an arch crafted with cross country skis.

The couple plans to travel to Ontario for a Canadian reception for those who couldn't make it to the wedding in Alaska. They will then begin their honeymoon in Moab, Utah.

According to a spokeswoman for the U.S. Ski Team, Randall says her health is completely restored and she is back to training. She recently underwent surgery for a blood clot in her leg.

Randall, who completed on the 2006 U.S. Olympic team, won a World Cup event in Russia last December.
