ANCHORAGE -- Alaskans just can't get enough of Elton John.

His May 28 concert at the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage sold out in 58 minutes last week, prompting the addition of a second concert two days later.

That concert sold out hour in about an hour Monday.

Concert promoters say there hasn't been this much excitement over a singer's visit to Alaska in a long time.

The British megastar has never been to Alaska before, but is coming later this month on a quest to hold concerts in every state.

He will perform in Fairbanks on May 29, between the two Anchorage dates.

I think you ment the concert sold out in and hour, how many hours are they in a day.
