Public Safety Report - May 4

The Public Safety Report is compiled from criminal complaints filed in state and federal courts, as well as some police blotter information, trooper dispatches, fire department reports and interviews with public safety officials. Individuals named as arrested and/or charged with crimes in this report are presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
Burglary
Fairbanks police are searching for two men suspected of breaking into 2 Geeks Computers on Saturday morning.
A witness called police just before 6 a.m. to report that the two men were leaving the store through a window with two computers in hand.
One suspect was described as a black male in his twenties, thin build and wearing dark clothing a hoodie. The witness was unable to get a good look at the second suspect.
They were last seen on the Old Steese Highway in a small brown or tan pick up truck, possibly a Toyota.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Fairbanks police at 450-6500.
Robbery
On Friday, a woman told Fairbanks police that two men knocked her out and took her money while she was walking Thursday in Weeks Field.
Theft
A camera and bracelet were reported stolen Friday afternoon from a car parked at Regal Cinemas.
Vehicle vs. moose
A semi-truck hit a moose late Friday night near mile 335 of the Richardson Highway in North Pole. The two occupants, Casey Martin King, 30, of Fairbanks, and Daniel James Hart, 28, of North Pole were uninjured. Damage to the truck was estimated at more than $500.
