Fairbanks, North Pole post offices close for Fourth of July

Stumble It!FAIRBANKS — All post offices will be closed on Friday for Independence Day. There will be no commercial or residential mail delivered that day, either. However, Express Mail will be delivered as usual. Normal mail delivery service will resume on Saturday.
The college, downtown and North Pole post offices will be open during regularly scheduled hours on Saturday. The airport post office will be closed, but parcel pickup is available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pickup at collection boxes will be made at the posted holiday schedule.
