Calista gives elders $250 for Christmas

Published Tuesday, December 16, 2008

BETHEL, Alaska -- Elders in the Bethel region have a little more money this December.

Calista Corp. is giving $250 to elders for the holidays.

The Alaska Native corporation for the Bethel region says it's the first time an allotment of this nature has been given out.

Distribution began by mail on Friday.

The corporation says it's a direct result of its continuing financial strength and security.

Corporation President Matthew Nicolai says the board of directors voted unanimously in favor to send the money to about 1,500 elders.

I am Calista Corporation Shareholder, finally, something positive happening with the company after so many years of Matthew Nicholai embezzling spray. Matthew Nicholai should be in federal prison for the things he done in the past. Matthew Nicholai must have blackmailed so many key witnesses to shut them up.
