Light earthquake reported near Talkeetna

ANCHORAGE -- A light earthquake occurred in central Alaska near Talkeetna.

The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says it struck at 3:14 p.m. Thursday and was centered 22 miles southeast of Talkeetna.

The quake had a preliminary magnitude of 4.0.

There were no reports that it was felt or caused any damage.
