Two men wounded in Anchorage shooting

ANCHORAGE -- Two men believed to have been involved in a fight outside an Anchorage night spot have been hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

Police say the men — whose names have not been released — were shot in a three-man argument early Sunday outside the Players House of Rock in the city's Spenard section.

Police spokesman Paul Honeman says the two men required surgery and both were in critical but stable condition.

Allen Choy, a co-owner of House of Rock, says security staffers were in the parking lot at the time of the shootings and saw what happened.

Choy says a vehicle pulled into the lot and a couple of people walked by and said something.

He says words were exchanged and the person inside the vehicle pulled out a gun.
