Assembly of God Church

Assembly of God Central Mission Church, 3558 Goldizen Ave., holds an English service Sundays at 10 a.m.; Korean service at 11 a.m.; and an English service at 7 p.m. Starting in September, youth group Bible study will be each Wednesday at 7 p.m. Leonard John is pastor.

Greater New Hope COGIC

St. Jude’s Episcopal

St. Mark Catholic

St. Mark Catholic parish, on the campus of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, will begin its fall schedule on Sunday, Aug. 31. Masses are at 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. every Sunday in Schaible Auditorium, Bunnell Building. Weekday Masses are at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the Catholic Center, 514 Copper Lane.

Members of UUFF’s Hungry Book Club will present some of their favorite literary gems in a panel discussion. Bring a pen and paper to take notes for your next expedition to the library or bookstore. University Baptist

University Baptist Church, 1197 University Ave., has Sunday morning services at 9 and 11 a.m. The topic will be “Honoring the Lord’s Day.” There is 10 a.m. Bible study for all ages, and a nursery and cry room available with closed circuit TV of all services. Children’s church takes place during the 11 a.m. service.

Presbyterian

University Community Presbyterian Church, 3510 College Road, hold Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Janice Adams will preach a sermon titled “Who Do You Say That I Am?” Children grades K-four are invited to their own special worship time during the service. An adult Bible study on the Book of Proverbs will follow the service. Childcare is provided.

Children are invited to worship. There is a nursery available during the service for children from 6 weeks to age 5.

Victory Christian
