ANCHORAGE -- A 24-year-old man is under arrest, accused of stabbing a father and son who confronted him over vandalizing a vehicle in Anchorage.
Anchorage police say Zeb Bewak was taken into custody Saturday after Alaska State Troopers captured him at the home of a relative in Chickaloon.
Police say Bewak was tracked down through tips.
He is facing five felony counts of assault and criminal mischief in connection with the stabbing Thursday.
Bewak is accused of stabbing the two men in their legs.
The father required 20 stitches and his 18-year-old son was hospitalized after getting 75 stitches.

Way to go dude!! Not just any ol' Einstein can turn an attempted theft, trespassing, or vandalism charge into attempted murder, second or third degree assault, and various weapons misconduct charges. That amazing display of 'magic' takes a special kind of idiot.
Unless maybe you were making a political statement about the rights of thieves, or some such thing, and I've otherwise become all confused about the real intended message within your actions.
Next time you go out to cause harm to others' properties, or engage in theft, leave the knife at home; you obviously lack sufficient impulse control, thought processes, and self-discipline to be carrying one. 'Cause it might otherwise be the last blunder that you perpetrate.
Take these tid bits as neighborly advice, albeit, thankfully, -distant- neighborly advice..
this guy has a record a mile long-- why they keep letting him back out is beyond me.. he obviously has a problem and needs to be incarcerated until he is "rehabbed" ha! like thats ever gonna happen...

Is Zeb a little man?
Pardon the pun.
They're not letting him out, he's in custody. And with 5 felony assaults, I doubt he'll be "out" for a while... He definitely needs more done than to just sit in a cell for a few years though.
