To the editor:
Joe Miller is running for U.S. Senate. He is a man of integrity and public service. He graduated West Point and Yale Law School, earned a Bronze Star in Iraq, became a magistrate judge and wants to serve the people of Alaska as senator.
He is running against Lisa Murkowski, who was appointed by her father to the Senate after he interviewed dozens of potential candidates. In the end, nepotism won out. Lisa was taught well by her father because she has a new charade, not just on some unwitting Senate candidates, but on all the people of Alaska. She is making herself out to be a conservative.
As a senator she voted moderate and acknowledged being a moderate. If you have any questions go to joemiller.us and look at third-party sites that clearly lay out her votes and public statements. She is not willing to acknowledge who she really is or what she stands for during election time. She would rather misinform the voters.
That sounds to me like the political class of today that says one thing to get elected and does another when elected. We need elected officials who clearly state who they are, what they will do when elected, and speak the truth even if it may not be popular.
That is Joe Miller. Lisa has not agreed to debate Joe on the issues. She dodged the only previous debate in Wasilla minutes before it started. She has not gone on the radio with one conservative talk show host even though she calls herself a conservative. The days of politicians overspending and creating huge deficits must end. Like they say, you can pay me now or pay me later.
Lisa is for a continuation of the failed status quo. Joe is for responsible government that respects the Constitution and the people governed by it. If you want more bailouts, like TARP and IMF funding which Lisa voted for, or open borders then she is your candidate. If you want lower spending and a less intrusive smaller government with a secure border Joe should be your candidate.

Lisa said, she voted yes for his confirmation because she thought Obama should have who ever he wanted in that position.

Appointees are approved by the Senate after they are judged fit for the job. NOT simply approved because a Senator whats the president to be happy.
A Senator's job is to not only look out for their home state, but they are also charged with the responsibility of helping to govern the country by approving various appointees and the budget.
Her comments showed me she did not understand her job and the concept of "senatorial advice and consent" or she was knowingly acting in the best interest of the Democrat socialist agenda.
Holder is the guy who is suing Arizona over immigration stopping illegal immigration and the flow of drugs to American uses nation wide.
In reality, like it or not, drug users do pressure politicians to do noting about drug traffic. Generally they use the argument: of personal freedom right to do what you want.
She also pressured the Department of Education to wave "No student" left behind requirements for rural Alaska.
Well, the political effect was to make some rural school district management happy knowing their job is secure and to continue the sub, sub stand school test scores which lead to continued poverty and unemployment.
This is not a good thing!

At the very least you are predictable. Are you really supporting Lisa, or are you trying to split the Republican vote?
The body of this letter is about Lisa and her shortcomings. Let's see something of substance on Miller if you want to write about him.
You are entirely correct in your points about Joe Miller, ConservativeGirl, so you've become the target!
.
No, I am not Joe Miller and I have never actually met him. I have just been around a long time and know what I am talking about.
And since you seem to be obsessed with the fact that Joe Miller lost his bid for State house, we should mention the fact that no Republican has EVER held that seat.
If you want to hear more about Miller's positions, go to joemiller.us. You will get an eye-full.
I find it funny that miller is using the same status quo on how to get elected that he is saying that he is not going to use when elected. Arguement given for can also be used against: he is a status quo trained minion. Yale? Check. Military? Check. JUDGE? check check. gimme a break. The pot and kettle dont need to worry about which is black, they both need a good scrubbin.
