JUNEAU, Alaska — Sarah Palin’s criticizing President Barack Obama for appearing on “The View.”

The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee tweeted Obama has “no time” to visit the U.S.-Mexico border yet can chat on the ABC daytime talk show.

She says she plans to visit to what she calls the porous border “in the near future.” She wasn’t specific.

A White House spokesman didn’t immediately offer comment.

The administration has taken steps to address the border security issue, including Obama’s decision that will send 1,200 National Guard troops to the region this weekend.

Palin has taken shots at Obama before, including over his handling of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill and what she called his lack of executive experience before assuming the presidency.

Palin resigned midway through her first term as Alaska governor last year.

I saw jealousy mentioned in the thread, I think that is what this article is all about; in fact, seems that's all any article touching on Queen Sarah the Immiscible is ever all about.

Palin is criticizing Obama for not finding time to hang out at the border, does she realize that he's not a private citizen, like her, and can't just go wherever he feels like on a whim?

She might have more substance to this particular gripe if she was actually at the border when she was interviewed.

The journalist must have played hardball and asked her when she was making a trip there herself, given the classic "Palin answer" she gives:

"She says she plans to visit to what she calls the porous border “in the near future.” She wasn’t specific."

A little more.

All you folks to dog Palin should spend less time posting on bait AP news stories, and get another job to cover the amount of money inflation has stolen from your retirement account. Currently it is about 50% in the last 3 years.

AS, for you government employees (including freeloaders looking have free medical care equal to congress) who are making 1.5 million per year and expect to retire with a 650,000 dollar pension for the rest of your life are in for a rude for several very rude and crude surprise: there is NO money in your account! Your account is funded or a year to year appropriation or it in only partly funded based on the assumption the economy will expand for ever at 3% compounded.

Which makes you exactly like the people on Social Security.

Social Security was a trust fund and congress stole ALL the money every single cent. Now they must fund SS from the General Fund.

But don't cry to much: the feds bailed out Government Motor's UAW retirement fund with borrowed cash.

Naturally none you believe ME do your home work.

read and pay actual attention.

My question: is the this the hope and change you vote for?

AP news story! By a nameless reporter.

Note the last paragraph sniper attack on Sarah.

FACT: She could not afford endless legal expenses caused by fake ethics complaints from the whacko Obama bot.

FACT: Since she left, she has done very well selling books! And is running neck and neck with Obama.

She has done far, far, far better then any AP scum reporter.

Listened to Rush re the Volt car and GM.

He has his cause and effect mixed up.

GM went under because the price of oil went $149 per barrel and people stopped buying cars. Collateral damage from the saving the planet from C02 by running the price of fuel up.

GM was selling cars at 0 down to people who could not pay back the loans, just like the housing industry. GM's loan arm GMAC went bankrupt and was saved by the feds.

There is a limited pool of people who are credit worthy and now.

The economy remains depressed and with hyper inflation because the price of oil went from $20 per barrel to $80.

As for the Volt, it takes 35 Kwh to equal the energy of a gallon of gas. At 10 cents per Kwh the gasoline equivalent is $3.50. Here in Alaska, it is $7.00 at 22 cents per Kwh.

The media is defrauding the public by failing to report the Electric Car's Kwh per mileage.

Which is probably 1 Kwh with power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, lights on, wipers on, on a flat surface with no head wind and when the moon is full.

You will notice the AP news stories on the Volt and OTHER electric cars always leave out the miles per Kwh!

It is deliberately done!

I see. So, the buck still stops with Bush. Even though 72% of Americans feel that Obama is failing by spending too much money and raising taxes, the buck still stops with Bush. To paraphrase the Boy-King, "I didn't ask for this president! I inherited him from the previous administration."

I don't think we've ever had such an unserious president.

Get over it already she lost the election and Obama is the President of the United States of America. Its a shame he has to cleanup the mess left after 8 years of failed Republican policies. The same policies the Republicans want to go back to.

TAC, I am no more a Republican than you are. I just don't hate Palin and wish her and her family the best. Same way I feel about you or Obama and his family, ....although that Michelle is one witchy woman. I think she's the one driving the boat.

Why not address the substance of her gripes? Most Americans have the same gripes about Obama. Some of you do not understand irony and fate. It's quite clear that the legacy of Clinton was Bush and that the legacy of Bush was Obama. Therefore, the legacy of Obama will be Palin. That is how irony works.

I'm sure she is "smater" than me... whatever that means.

"Going Rogue" was written by Lynn Vincent. When she actually writes a book, I may consider reading it.

She doesn't want him to go on the view and talk to people like a normal person, but she wants him to go stand out in the middle of Mexico? That's supposed to be a good use of the President's time?

Simply Sarah is just jealous because she isn't invited to any highly rated talk shows. Plus, they might ask her a hardball question, like "what sort of magazines do you red?".

Palin is nothing more than repub eye candy.

Her looks have gotten her this far, not her brains.

(After all, it took her 7 years to get a 2 year college "degree".)

As a former Palin supporter I can't grasp how or why I supported this Wasilla version of the Beverly Hillybillies.

As far as Obama goes, maybe the extreme rightists would be happier if he went to his ranch and cut mesquite every time a crisis came along. It worked for Bush, didn't it?

"why should obama miss a chance to appear in front of his supporters, unemployed dolts that watch daytime tv?"

Do you mean the stay-at-home moms, night shift workers, elderly, disabled, and kids off school? And all the workers who TIVO this show?
