ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Seventy-five mushers have signed up for the 2010 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.

Mushers had until Nov. 30 to sign up and mail their applications.

Iditarod officials say next year's field includes three-time and reigning champion Lance Mackey. Rick Swenson, the race's only five-time winner will be there, as well as four-time winners Jeff King and Martin Buser. Mitch Seavey, the 2004 champion, also is entered.

See the list here.

Race officials say 19 of last year's top 20 finishers have signed up for the 2010 Iditarod.

The entry fee remained at $4,000 this year.

The 1,150-mile race to Nome begins March 6 from downtown Anchorage.

That is a nice field of competitors. I think we'll be seeing a very good race this winter. Best of luck to all, but especially the home-town teams from Two Rivers.
