Professor to give talk on climate change in Alaska

FAIRBANKS - John Walsh, president’s professor of climate change and chief scientist at the International Arctic Research Center, will present a free lecture Jan. 12 titled “Alaska’s Changing Climate: Should We Be Concerned?”

The event is at 7 p.m. in Schaible Auditorium, located on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. The lecture is the second WINTERmester lecture held by UAF Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning.
